Safety & Security

Safety and Security Supervisor, Dennis Kehn - (216) 797-7817

The Euclid City School District considers the safety, security and general well being of all persons entering our facilities paramount. We strive to make our facilities a place where students, staff and visitors feel safe. We strive to create an environment conducive to learning.

Our buildings have the latest in technologies and up to date procedures and practices that assist us in making you secure. Uniformed security personnel are all certified by the Ohio Peace Officer's Training Council and are provided with regular in-service training.

In the safety area we have an environmental engineer in our buildings every six months. We have an Asbestos Management Plan available in the Principal's office and in the Business Office. Bleachers and other equipment are checked regularly and we are pleased to have the County Health Department, the Euclid Fire Department and others watching over our buildings on a regular basis.

We have first aide stations throughout our buildings and automatic defibrillators in critical locations. Watch for the AED signs to locate a defibrillator.

All students are provided with a picture identification card Parents are asked to make certain students carry this identification with them while at school.

When visiting any school facility please remember to check in with the main office and receive a visitor pass. When visiting Central Middle School Please use the west entrance and when visiting Euclid High School there is a dedicated visitor's entrance at the southeast corner of the building. Al visitors will be asked for identification.
