Identification
In accordance with Ohio Operating Standards for Gifted Education identification as superior cognitive requires a 130+ score on an approved test of academic ability. Specific academic achievement identification requires a standardized achievement test score of no less than 95% in a content area (total reading, total math, science or social studies).
