Technology Funding
Funding for computers and technology can be very difficult in today's tight school budgets. ECS are very fortunate to have technology funding from many sources. Over the past several years, over a million dollars has been gained in grants from EETT and Ohio's SchoolNet Plus funds (now eTech+). The national eRate program was designed to give public schools and libraries internet and network access. Our buildings were networked with those funds. Soon almost all buildings will have wireless access to all classrooms and 80% of that cost will be paid out the eRate funds. In addition to hardware funding the ECS receive Professional Development grants for technology.
