CISCO Networking Awards

Euclid Students Trevor Tomlinson and Josh Jones placed in the National Leadership Competition this June. Both are students in Roy Pignatiello's College Tech Prep Networking (CISCO) Program. Trevor placed first in the nation, and Josh placed seventh. What an accomplishment. They make Euclid proud. Congratulations Roy, Trevor, and Josh.
The National Leadership Conference of Business Professionals of America was held in Dallas, Texas from June 16 to June 20, and eighteen states were represented. The Workplace Skills Assessment Program is an integral part of Business Professionals. The goal of the program is to provide all business students with the opportunity to demonstrate workplace skills learned through business education curricula. Students demonstrate occupational competencies, broaden knowledge and skills, expand leadership and human relation skills, and demonstrate a competitive spirit.
Students demonstrate knowledge and skills in the following: OSI model, router configuration, network management, LAN/WAN design, security, routing protocols, and switching theory, VLANS, and network components and topologies.
We are very impressed by these young men and wish them success and happiness in the future.
