School Dress Code
Introduction
Students must dress in a manner that is appropriate for the school’s positive learning environment. They must be neat and clean in their appearance and personal hygiene. Any dress or grooming that is distracting or is a possible health or safety hazard is prohibited. Any dress that causes or is likely to cause a hostile, intimidating, degrading, offensive, harassing, or discriminatory environment is also prohibited.
General Guidelines
- All clothing must be appropriately sized and fit neatly. NO SAGGING PANTS.
- Upper and lower garments must meet or overlap at all times, including when arms are raised, to prevent exposed skin.
- Unaltered Euclid logos or other Euclid “spirit wear” is encouraged and permissible at any time, but it must adhere to the appropriate size rule referenced in number 1 above.
- Clothing required for career-technical courses and Naval Junior ROTC is permissible.
- The following attire is PROHIBITED during school hours:
- Over-sized, spandex, or extremely tight-fitting clothing. NO SAGGING PANTS.
- See-through clothing or material that reveals undergarments.
- Bare midriff, “crop tops”, halter tops, tank tops, tops with spaghetti straps, muscle shirts, and low-cut, revealing tops (no cleavage can be seen.)
- Pants with air brushing, embroidery, or other decorations.
- Undergarments worn on the outside of clothing.
- Pajamas and/or loungewear, either tops or bottoms.
- Clothing with tears, holes, or decorative patches.
- Garments with inappropriate language, pictures, or suggestive references, including those relating to alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or sex.
- Any dress that causes or is likely to cause a hostile, intimidating, degrading, offensive, harassing, or discriminatory environment.
- Cleats, slippers, flip-flops, or stiletto heels; sandals must have back straps.
- Spiked jewelry or chains.
- Coats, jackets, and gloves may not be worn in school.
Hats and caps must be removed when entering building; hoods on sweatshirts may NOT be worn covering head.

Notes
- Shirts with collars preferred.
- No spaghetti straps, tank tops, crop tops; no cleavage showing.T-shirts must not extend below mid-thigh.
- Hoods on sweatshirts may not be worn covering the head during school hours.
- Skirts/Shorts/Skorts must be no shorter than two inches above the knee.
- Pants and other lower garments must fit properly around the waist (belts preferred).
- No cleats, flip-flops, or stiletto heels; sandals must have back straps.
- Overshoe boots (snow boots, galoshes) are not permissible inside school.
- Not permitted inside school.
- Any tattoo that is derogatory in nature and does not meet the restrictions of General Guidelines “5h” and “5i” (see reverse side) must be covered.
- Not permitted inside school—including wave caps, kerchiefs/bandanas, etc.
- No make up.
