2.) What is your educational background?
I graduated from Beavercreek High School in Beavercreek, Ohio. I earned my associate of arts degree from Lakeland Community College and I hold a bachelor of science in business administration from Franklin University.
3.). What do you do for a living?
“I am an Administrative Assistant for the City of Euclid.”
4.) Why did you want to be a School Board Member?
“I wanted to give back to the community that I adopted over 30 years ago. This community welcomed me and my family. I felt that my children received a quality education and wanted to give back and be involved in the schools. I want to help move the district in a positive direction, I want to be part of the solution!”
5.)What is your best memory/ favorite story about Euclid Schools?
“At my first graduation ceremony as a board member in 2012, I had the privilege of giving a special education student, who had trouble walking across the stage, her diploma. Most of the time she used a walker and her goal was to receive her diploma without using the walker. She did it all by herself! It brought tears to my eyes. To see all her hard work come together; she worked hard academically and physically to accomplish the goal of graduating. She received a standing ovation! It just showed that it took a lot of hard work, not only for this student, but her parents and her teachers for her to succeed. Everyone can succeed, if they if put the effort into it.”
