New High School bell schedule increases instructional time

Our Euclid Schools strive to provide as much instructional time as possible to all of our students. Beginning on Tuesday, September 5, we will introduce a seven-period schedule that increases our instructional time by three minutes each class period.

The following bell schedule will guide the high school's day:

1: 7:30-8:23
2: 8:28-9:25
3: 9:30-10:23
4: 10:28-11:21
5: 11:26-12:19
6: 12:24-1:17
7: 1:22-2:15
Bus pick up times will not change and buses will depart the high school approximately 2:25 each day.

By removing the Intervention/Enrichment period at the end of each day, we were able to increase the amount of instructional time by three minutes each class periodStudents will be able to access tutoring options after seventh period. The high school administration will provide more information about these options through the morning announcements.
We look forward to implementing this new schedule and believe it will help us to meet our goal of increasing student achievement.
