Board Approves Tax Reduction
The Euclid Board of Education approved a resolution last night to accept the Cuyahoga County Budget Commission's reduction of residents' property taxes by 1.1 mills. The reduction comes as the result of a higher than expected rate of collection of property taxes. Euclid property owners will save $27 per year ($70,000 of home value). The Euclid Schools will continue to maintain the high rate of education and programming they currently offer.
