Nine years and counting Cisco advances to State Competition

After an impressive performance in then Business Professionals of America Region 18 competition last week, the Cisco Networking Academy at Euclid High School is advancing to the State competition. Euclid students took home 11 plaques by placing in the top 4 of the events they entered. Every student in the program placed in the top ten of the region which consisted of students from Parma, Normandy, Maple Heights, Bedford High School, Cuyahoga County Career Center and EOTC.

Connor Hoffman, Justin Fike, Alex Ridevski, and Brandon Harber will be advancing to the State competition in Columbus March 16. This marks the ninth year in a row students from the Euclid High School program will compete at the State competition. Last year, students from the program won the National competition in Boston in two events, Systems Administration Using Cisco and Computer Networking Technology.
