Mission/Philosophy of the
Euclid High School Guidance Program
Our mission as the Euclid High School Guidance Department is to provide a comprehensive program that will assist all students in acquiring the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to become effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers, and lifelong learners in the 21st century. The Euclid High School’s Guidance Program is an integral part of our school’s culture of achievement with the commitment to individual uniqueness and an understanding of multicultural diversity. The program addresses the personal/social, educational, and career needs of all students with the ultimate goal of developing a process for life and career planning that realistically matches each student’s aptitudes and interests.
The Guidance Department consists of one School Counselor for each grade level, as well as one School Counselor who oversees the College Credit Plus (CCP) program, Career Technical Educational (CTE) programs and supports the work of College Now as the Post-Secondary and Financial Aid Counselor. There are two School Psychologists and a Family Resource Manager who also work closely with the Guidance Team to support the well-being of our students.
