CDC Precautions and Recommendations

For the latest information on COVID-19:


CDC Recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, influenza, and other illnesses: 

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds several times daily

  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneeze into a tissue or your sleeve or elbow

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth

  • Practice Social Distancing - reduce your contact with others and large groups 

  • Stay home when you are sick.  You should self-quarantine and contact your doctor.

  • If you need to visit a doctor or other healthcare professionals, please contact them by phone so they can take adequate measures

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, online instruction has become increasingly important to keep both students and educators safe during this critical time. With this in mind, we have created a few on-demand resources that we hope are useful in educating your K–5 students on important topics such as proper hand washing and adjusting to change.
