In the email, please be sure to include the name of the student, grade, the school they attend, and a brief description of what is happening in the photo. We encourage you to post the photos on your own social media page as well with the hashtags #CaptureAPanther and #OurEuclid and tag us @euclidschools. Why should you vote on Issue 71?

With every election, we hear, “this vote is the most important vote of our lifetime.” That’s not a hyperbole this election! The November 3rd ballot includes many critical races and issues, including Issue 71 for our Euclid Schools. Issue 71 will provide our schools with funding to preserve programs and protect our academic progress. Over the past 4 years, our academic performance has continuously improved, resulting in a five percent increase in graduation rates and over 93% of our 3rd graders meeting the State of Ohio’s reading requirements. ECSD has also earned the State Auditor’s Award with Distinction for financial management.

As a direct result of the 2018 levy defeat, we were forced to make significant cuts within our district, including teachers and administrators. Issue 71 does not make up for the past renewal levy that was defeated, but if passed, will cost property owners a little more than just $4 a week for a $75,000 home.

Voting on Issue 71 is essential for our district as we continue to provide our students with the academics, career-technical education, arts, and extracurricular activities they need for college and careers. Issue 71 will allow our schools to continue providing improved, quality education for our students. Click here to read the general FAQ’s about Issue 71.

Meal distribution program update

Help us spread the word! ECSD has extended our meal distribution program through December 31, 2020! We are now able to offer FREE meals to any child in the Euclid area, ages 1-18 years old--no questions asked. We are encouraging daycares, home daycares, churches, and other institutions to participate in this program to help supplement the nutritional needs of children beyond our reach. For large meal pick-ups, we ask that the receiver provides their own box or another transporting vessel.

Distribution days and times are every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 am to 1 pm. Distribution will take place at each elementary school location as well as the new Euclid Middle School bus loop located at 711 E. 222nd St off Tracy Ave.
