The Euclid High School boys track team made a powerful statement at the Avon Reynolds Invitational on May 9th, demonstrating their speed, endurance, and commitment to excellence. Competing against some of the best talent in the region, the team not only claimed top finishes but also set new meet records, showcasing their dedication to the sport.
Record-Breaking Performances:
4x800 Meter Relay Team: Malik Hogan, Maurice Hereford, Mario Seats, and King Duke shattered the meet record with an impressive time of 7:55.83.
4x400 Meter Relay Team: John Jordan, Malik Hogan, Mario Seats, and LaJuan Hamelin followed up with another record-breaking performance, finishing in 3:21.00.
Individual Milestone: John Jordan tied the meet record in the 400-meter dash, blazing through the finish line in 49.35 seconds, the fastest time in the district.
Strong Finish: Mario Seats placed third in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 41.91, rounding out a successful day for the team.
