Students from Euclid High School’s Chinese language program delivered a standout performance in the Eleventh Ohio K-12 Chinese Essay Contest, earning an impressive total of four Gold Awards and seven Silver Awards—marking the school’s strongest showing in the history of its participation.
Over 300 students from 28 school districts across the state competed in this year’s contest, hosted by the Ohio Association of Teachers of Chinese (OATC). Euclid students in Chinese Levels 2 through 4 showcased their language proficiency and cultural insight in handwritten essays judged on accuracy, creativity, and depth of thought.
