On Thursday afternoon, Sparky DiBiasio Stadium will serve as the site of a coordinated safety demonstration as part of Euclid High School’s annual Prom Promise event.
Beginning around 2:30 p.m., community members may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel on the Euclid Schools Secondary Campus. This activity is a planned and supervised educational event in partnership with the Euclid Police Department and Euclid Fire Department.
The demonstration is designed for Euclid High School juniors and seniors and will simulate a serious traffic accident to highlight the real-life consequences of impaired and unsafe driving. With support from 3S Towing, two totaled vehicles will be used to recreate the scene. First responders will conduct a full emergency response, including vehicle stabilization and a live extraction of student participants acting as victims.
Pending availability, the University Hospitals AirMed helicopter may also land on-site as part of the demonstration.
This impactful learning experience reinforces the importance of making safe, responsible decisions—especially with Prom season approaching.
We encourage the community to be aware that this is only a drill and not an actual emergency. Thank you for your understanding and continued support in helping keep our students safe.

Due to an unexpected power outage impacting our secondary campus, Euclid High School will be closed today. Word will come about Euclid Middle School shortly and we will communicate about any transportation plans.
If you are planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college or university next year, please plan to apply!
The Euclid Schools Foundation and its generous supporters offer over 30 scholarships to Euclid High School Seniors to pursue college education and vocational training. Please complete the application to be considered for all scholarship opportunities. The application is now open and the deadline to apply is March 20, 2026.
These scholarships are awarded to only Euclid High School students, so you have a good chance of being a recipient. These scholarships will be presented at an Awards Ceremony in May.
All listed scholarships are based on your academics, leadership characteristics, and participation in extracurricular and community activities.
