Varsity Chorale also captured the Best Show Concept Award, celebrating the the creativity, cohesion, and storytelling woven throughout this year’s performance. Individually, students shined as well, with Melina Broome earning Best Soloist honors and Ben Britt being recognized as Best Performer—highlighting the depth of talent and dedication within the group.

Show choir is one of the most demanding and comprehensive musical activities available to students, blending choral singing, choreography, acting, and narrative into a single production. Performers must execute complex harmonies while maintaining precision and energy through synchronized movement, all while conveying a compelling theme. Judges Ben Brittevaluate every aspect of the performance, from vocal quality and visual execution to difficulty and overall effect, making success at this level especially meaningful.

This year’s Varsity Chorale show, “Mind Control,” features selections including “Nightmare” by Set It Off and “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley. The production combines powerful vocals with dramatic choreography to create a performance that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. With a strong competitive debut, Varsity Chorale has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence and its ability to compete at the highest level.

Congratulations to Varsity Chorale on an exceptional opening weekend—and best of luck as they continue their season representing Euclid with Panther Pride.
