The Euclid High School Cheerleading team is on a historic run. For the third consecutive year, these incredible student-athletes have earned their spot at the OASSA State Cheerleading Championship, proving that their hard work, dedication and Panther Pride continue to set the standard across Ohio.
Last weekend, the Varsity Cheerleaders competed at the OASSA Regional Competition at Anthony Wayne High School, taking the floor in the HYPE Division – the same division in which they captured the State Championship last year. The Panthers delivered a standout performance full of energy and precision to secure their return to the state stage.
The team will now travel to Eversole Run School in Dublin on Friday, February 20 to compete for another state title. This trip makes their third straight appearance at the State Championship.
A strong core of veteran leaders, combined with mentoring talented younger teammates has ensured that talent continues to develop at every grade level. These athletes spend countless hours practicing, preparing routines for competitions while also bringing spirit to sporting events, pep rallies and other school events.
Good luck to these awesome athletes as they head to Dublin to compete among the best in the state. No matter the outcome, this team has already made history and they continue to show what it means to have Panther Pride!
