The Euclid Board of Education met on July 8th, 2026, in the Board Room at the Fordyce Administration Building at 7:00 pm.
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm by Board President Gabrielle Kelly, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Four Board Members were present; Mrs. Tia Otoo was unable to attend the meeting.
The Board reviewed, amended, and accepted the agenda for the evening.
The Board adopted the minutes from the June 9th, 10th, 17th, and 24th Board Meetings.

Reports and Recommendations of the Treasurer
This portion of the meeting covered some of the financial data of the district. With the closing of the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year, Euclid Schools Treasurer Patrick Higley led the Board Members through the typical monthly District Financial Statements while also providing a summary update of the operating fund for the fiscal year.
The Board approved the Financial Data for the month of June in FY 2025-2026.
The Board approved a resolution designating JPMorgan Chase Bank and/or Dollar Bank as the depositories of the public moneys of the district for the next five years.
Reports and Recommendations of the Superintendent
Personnel
The Board approved changes to Certified and Classified personnel in the form of resignations, terminations, retirements, permanent substitute appointments, non-teaching appointments, non-teaching assignments, extra duty, athletic duty, athletic duty resignations, and leaves.
In this action, the board named Mrs. Tina Hardaway as an assistant principal at Euclid High School.
The Board named Mr. Jerimie Acree and Ms. India Jackson as District Compliance Officers and Title IX Coordinators.
Contracts/Agreements
The Board approved service agreements with HDC Automation for Building Automation System and Building Management System support services. These services will provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring and support for the District’s building automations and controls.
The Board approved annual agreements with Rachel G. Slapnicker, LLC and MEG McKeon to provide Title I, IDEA-B, and Auxiliary services to Ss. Robert and William School and Villa Angela-St. Joseph schools. The District serves as the fiscal agent to process these federal funds to non-public institutions.
Routine Business
The Board approved a stipend payment to EHS Counselor Kayla Hunt from the Lake Shore Compact for support of out of district students and families.
The Board approved a service agreement with Making a Difference Consulting, LLC to provide a comprehensive behavioral health support, wellness coordination and data management for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Board approved a partnership with Making a Difference Consulting, LLC to provide tiered level programs and support to schools which utilize a wrap-around approach to services. All programs and services are designed to provide psychoeducation, implementation of skill building through the use of social and emotional learning topics, interactive activities, and evidence based counseling techniques which are embedded into curriculum.
The Board approved a service agreement with Making a Difference Consulting, LLC to provide district-wide behavioral health and support services and can assist the district in improving access and availability of evidence-based behavioral health promotion, prevention and early intervention practices.
The Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Heart to Heart Health and Wellness to provide on-site support and dedicated referral pathways between Euclid students and Heart to Heart to position students to succeed in school, work and their community.
The Board approved a memorandum of understanding with Ohio Guidestone to leverage necessary community resources to build sustainability within the district to support student and staff wellness through a School-Based Behavioral Health, Consultation and Prevention Program provides mental health, substance abuse, crisis, case management, prevention and other support services to children adolescents and young adults from Pre-K through High School.
The Board approved a service agreement with Ohio Guidestone SBHWS to provide a School Behavioral Health and Wellness Specialist for Euclid Middle School where responsibilities would involve support and enhancement of mental and behavioral health and wellness services of students and staff.
The Board approved the engagement of Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. to provide personnel to supplement Euclid Schools’ healthcare staffing.
The Board authorized the advancement of funds for the Food Service cashier banks for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Board approved a partnership with Northeast Ohio Neighborhood Health Services Inc. (NEON) to provide improved access to health care services in Euclid Middle and High School and extend school-based pediatric health care in a cost effective and accountable manner to students.
The Board approved a partnership with Bellefaire Jewish Children’s Bureau to provide prevention education services to assist the District’s students, staff and parents in building resiliency and reducing risk factors that contribute to the development of behavioral health conditions.
The Board approved the student fee schedule for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Board declared transportation impractical for pupils who are eligible for transportation to and from a school located outside the transportation radius of the District.
The Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding with College Now to provide advising, financial aid and scholarship services for students in 9th through 12th grade.
The Board approved tuition agreements with several schools and services that are contracted to provide services to Euclid students.
The Board approved the renewal of the TeachTown enCore K-12 curriculum for all special education units for the 2026-2027 school year. TeachTown is a curriculum that supports students with disabilities through digital and hands-on learning, integrating academics with social-emotional development.
The Board authorized contracts with WS Transportation, TLC Transportation Company, ODS Transportation and JB Safety 1st Transportation LLC to provide transportation for some of the District’s special education students for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Board approved lunch prices for the 2026-2027 school year.
Superintendent's Informal
Superintendent Brown reminded families about the Summer Meals program offered by the District, which provides breakfast and lunch at no-cost to anyone 18 and under. Meal sites include Arbor, Chardon Hills, Shoreview and Euclid Middle School.
She also reminded families now is the time to register students for the 2026-2027 school year.
Mrs. Brown noted that we are already more than halfway through the summer and reminded families that school starts on August 17, 2026.

The Board approved a resolution placing a 6.75-mill tax levy on the November General Election ballot.
