Euclid High School kicked off Homecoming weekend with its first all-school pep rally of the year Friday afternoon, filling Daugherty Gymnasium with music, friendly competition, and Panther Pride!
The band set the tone for the rally as they played pump-up music as students entered the gym, while cheerleaders cheered their classmates in the hallways and the Euclid Panther mascot danced with students.
The entire Homecoming Court was introduced, and EHS Principal Dr. Hayes helped to crown the Freshman Attendant, Homecoming Duke, and Homecoming Prince and Princess. The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at halftime of the Homecoming football game against the Brunswick Blue Devils.

Senior athletes were recognized throughout the rally, and the Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Back-to-Back State Champion Varsity Cheer Squads performed for their classmates.
To close the celebration, each class had teams that raced against each other in two spirited competitions. In an air mattress relay, teams from each grade raced to slide a mattress across the gym floor and back, with the sophomore class claiming victory. Next, each class received a manila folder filled with individual letter sheets and raced to spell “HOMECOMING.” The freshmen earned the win in the word scramble!
With enthusiastic participation across all four grades, the rally brought the school together and set the stage for a memorable Homecoming evening. Let’s keep that Panther Pride going all year long!
